If you are trying to download what doesn't look like just maps from the server (eg ONSBPTextures) and it's really slow it's probably that you are not patched up to the latest version of ut2004

In what way can't you get there? What do you see? Any message? Something downloading slow? Give me a clue?

I'm sorry to interrupt you, but the miasma is visible even if you have checked or unchecked non-standard servers, maybe a game client error? old version?
